Citrus Extracts, LLC processes the citrus peel immediately after the juice has been extracted from the fruit, to ensure quality. The juice extraction method is mechanical only, in keeping with the USDA and Florida Department of Agriculture guidelines and subjected to appropriate testing.
The peel of the fruit is cut and dehydrated using heat in a system that includes trade secrets. Our products are 100% dried citrus peel. There are no chemicals, agents, waxes, solvents, additives or other ingredients used in this process.
