Organic Agave Inulin Metlin Dust (Metlin Dust)

MetlinTM is Organic Inulin from a novel source: Blue Agave. The naturally occurring inulin in Agave are chains of fructose linked by β(2-1) and β(2-6) links, forming a branched molecule with a degree of polymerization (DP) of 1 to 60. This branching (as opposed to linear inulin from chicory and other plants) makes it very soluble in cold water and enhances its functional characteristics. Metlin is extracted and purified without the use of enzymes or processing aids to make a product with a predominant DP of 10 to 60.
