Olam Peanut Shelling Company’s peanuts are grown utilizing Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) which includes the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, Environmental Protection Agency and the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act. Olam Peanut Shelling Company is a peanut only processing company. Peanuts are of United States of America origin and are shelled, sized, blanched and packaged to customer specification. Gluten is not found within the chemical makeup of cultivated peanuts (Arachis hypogaea, L.). All peanut cultivars currently being grown have been derived from conventional breeding practices; Olam Peanut Shelling Company does not handle or process Genetically Modified Organisms, (GMOs). Proposition 65 – Peanuts grown under Good Agricultural Practices (cGAP) are fully compliant with Proposition 65. Olam Peanut Shelling Company’s peanuts are inherently kosher (halal, pareve). Peanuts arrive raw (in-shell), from the field, and are shelled / blanched and packaged. The process is dry; there are no additives or process aids used; all locations are certified. Olam Peanut Shelling Company’s peanuts are not processed using irradiation. Peanuts are a food Allergen and should be managed accordingly. Olam Peanut Shelling Company’s locations are registered with the Bioterrorism Act 2002. Olam Peanut Shelling Company’s locations are FSMA / PCQI Compliant.
