PINNACLE 170 (6260)
Pinnacle™ 170 Petrolatum, USP is a proprietary blend of hydrotreated, long-chain, nonpolar hydrocarbons and fully refined microcrystalline and paraffin waxes which imparts exceptional emollient properties along with excellent sensory properties. Odorless and tasteless, Pinnacle™ 170 Petrolatum, USP may be used in cosmetic and pharmaceutical applications where color is critical. This product meets FDA CFR Title 21 sections 172.880, 178.3700 and 573.720 requirements. Pinnacle™ 170 Petrolatum, USP meets the criteria for White Petrolatum as set forth in the United States Pharmacopeia. This product is excipient grade and not intended to be used as an active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) or for specialist applications, such as parenteral, ocular, inhalation, or open wound use.
When stored in its original, unopened container at 60-80°F, this product has an unlimited shelf life. Avoid exposure to extremely high or low temperatures. It is advisable to retest functional parameters after 2 years
