This ingredient has gone through a validated 5 log micro reduction (pasteurization) process. It is manufactured from organic food quality brown rice. No chemicals are used at any stage in the manufacturing process. Organic Pregelled Brown Rice Flour is a functional ingredient for food product formulation where thickening and binding properties are desired. Since the starches are fully cooked out, the product is essentially instantized. The product has good freeze thaw stability in moist food systems.
