Our common ingredient list for allergens accepted at our Facility consists of: - Soy and related products - Milk and related products - Yeast and related products Nutrisol Quality Assurance closely monitors the receiving, storage, and use of allergens in our facility while maintaining appropriate documentation. Allergens received into our facility come from approved suppliers and are inspected upon receiving, segregated from other materials, covered by a plastic shield, stored on the ground level, and labeled with identifying “Allergen” placards in accordance to our company standard operating procedures (SOP) and Food Safety Plan. Allergen spills are addressed by securing the area, removing the material with single use PPE and equipment specifically used to prevent cross-contamination, and sanitizing with chemical cleaning agents. All equipment or instruments that are used for production of any allergen or allergen related product is tested by Quality Assurance using allergen specific swab testing before being cleared for production. Every employee is trained on and expected to abide by our company’s Allergen SOP.
