Deoiled sunflower lecithin in powder form of high phospholipid concentration, low residual oil content and superior odor and flavour profile. The product is free flowing. Due to its low oil content, deoiled sunflower lecithin features improved wetting, emulsifying and dispersing properties in comparison to native fluid lectihin. The product does not contain any ingredients that were produced from genetically modified organisms (GMO’s). Deoiled sunflower lecithin is the result of isolating the active components in fluid sunflower lecithin, thus increasing the phospholipid content. Its well known emulsifying properties together with its high purity allow for applications in pharmaceutical and dietetic products. The nutritional value of lecithin, containing active substances such as choline, polyunsaturated acids, inositol, etc. confers with lecithin’s great importance as a supplement in regular diets, as well as for very specific treatments.
