They are then dried to the specified moisture level, lightly sprayed with sunflower oil, inspected, and packaged. Cherries are processed and packaged in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices, including metal detection Production also follows the guidelines of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 40CFR180 for pesticide chemical residue tolerances in food.
