North Cork Creameries rennet casein is produced in a production plant in Kanturk, Co. Cork, Ireland from skim milk separated from quality milk sourced from approved suppliers, which has been pasteurised at 73⁰C minimum for a minimum of 15 seconds. The skim milk is coagulated using microbial rennet and the whey separated. The curd is washed, heat-treated, dried and passed though sieves to produce rennet casein of the required mesh size
North Cork Creameries sweet whey powder is produced from concentrating and spray drying of fresh, high quality whey produced during the rennet casein manufacturing process in our production plant in Kanturk, Co. Cork, Ireland which has been pasteurised at 73⁰C minimum for a minimum of 15 seconds.
