Trisodium Citrate Dihydrate trade name as sodium citrate is salt of citric acid, produced by the reaction between citric acid and sodium hydroxide. Trisodium Citrate dihydrate is available as translucent crystals or as a granular or fine granular powder. This product is manufactured with non-allergens ingredients, nongenetically modified organism and non-organic volatiles solvents or substances. Trisodium Citrate Dihydrate is odorless with a cool saline taste. One gram is soluble in 1.5 ml of water at 25 ºC and in 0.6ml of boiling water. It is insoluble in alcohol. At 25 an aqueous solution 5% w is slightly alkaline, with a pH between 7,5 to 9,0. Trisodium Citrate Dihydrate becomes anhydrous at 150 ºC
