Tru-Flo Salt Evaporated (FG) (6010)

This letter is to certify that the Tru-Flo® Evaporated Granulated Salt, FCC – Plain as supplied to you by the United Salt Corporation typically contains a minimum of 99.5 % sodium chloride. Moisture content is typically 0.1% or less. The salt as supplied does contain the anti-caking additive, Yellow Prussiate of Soda, YPS at less than 13 parts per million calculated as the anhydrous material. In accordance with 21 CFR 172.490, YPS is an approved food additive regulated by the Food and Drug Administration and is exempt from the labeling requirements of the Hazard Communication Program 29 CFR 1910.1200 (b) (5) (ii). It is also exempt from label declaration on foods incorporating the salt as an incidental, nonfunctional additive under 21 CFR 101.100 (a) (3).
