Hubco Inc. 215 South Poplar Street Hutchinson, Kansas 67501 July 25, 2018 To the Customers of Hubco Inc.: This letter is written in response to questions asked by our customers with regards to allergens that may be present in textile packaging produced by Hubco Inc. Hubco’s products are produced from 100% cotton, cotton/polyester blends and manmade nonwoven fabrics. Our products are used in a variety of applications ranging from food packaging to industrial mining. We encourage our customers to inform us of end use applications so we can best serve your needs. Hubco does not store, process or package any food products at our facility and therefore would not knowingly introduce or cross contaminate any known allergens into products by direct or indirect contact. Hubco strives to follow HACCP guidelines and has invited necessary 3rd party auditing to identify and improve our performance in food safety areas. We have gone so far as to eliminate any known allergens from vending areas such as nuts to prevent any accidental transfer contact from employees to product. We have trained all employees in “Good Manufacturing Practices” and have stressed the importance of good sanitation procedures. With all these safeguards in place, we cannot fully guarantee our products are produced in a totally allergen free environment, but we have reduced any risk of contamination to a minimum. We encourage our customers to provide camera-ready artwork for printing plates. It is our customer’s responsibility to insure this artwork best represents their product while taking into consideration allergen statements that would be required to fulfill US Food Safety requirements. Hubco will print any statement that customers deem necessary to fulfill packaging requirements, but Hubco will not be responsible for any misrepresentation of these statements.
