Vegex® Tangerine 520 WS is a dark orange-red liquid produced by extraction of carminic acid fromthecochineal insect. The pigment is diluted in propylene glycol and water. The major coloring principle is carminic acid. The product is standardized on the carminic acid strength according to the FCCII method.
Water, Propylene glycol, Citric acid, Cochineal extract. This color is in full compliance with 21 CFR Part 73.100 and is approved for use in food. It is exempt from certification. EU: The color is in full compliance with EU Food Regulation 178/2002/EC with later amendments, EU Food Additives Regulation1333/2008/EC with later amendments on food additives and with the specifications for identity and purity given by EURegulation231/2012/EC with later amendments for E 120.
