SOTAC® White Wheat (SWW)

Knappen Milling Company only processes Wheat products. The products may contain unintentional trace amounts of other grains, corn, or soybean. Unintentional amounts may result from growing methods, harvesting equipment, shared storage, or raw transportation. This is a known issue within the industry. Under the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Food Allergen Labeling and Consumer Protection Act, allergens that are unintentionally added to food as a result of cross contact are not subject to labeling requirements. Knappen Milling Company has a fully implemented HACCP program and will continue to practice the principles of HACCP. All known hazards have been assessed and identified through risk assessments, and have been eliminated to the best of our ability prior to processing. Knappen also requires wash tickets or certificates for all transportation vessels that supply wheat to Knappen Milling. Knappen does not source wheat from farmers, elevators, or any other company that handles peanuts/tree nuts at facilities where Knappen’s products are sourced from.
