Exberry Shade Brilliant Orange Intense - OD (10184005)
According to the European Regulation (EC) No 1333/2008 on food additives and the ‘NATCOL Code of Practice for the Classification, Manufacturing, Use and Labelling of Coloring Foods (EU)’ EXBERRY® products are considered as food ingredients with coloring properties, so called “Coloring Foods” and are not considered as food additives (colors), which need to be approved as such and labelled with an E-number.
Vegetable concentrate made of paprika and carrot concentrates and processed with sunflower oil, maltodextrin, citric acid, sodium ascorbate (E301) and tocopherol-rich extract (E306).
From GNT’s point of view the following labelling recommendations could be used on the ingredient list of the final product in Thailand: “natural color: color extract from paprika fruit and carrot root.
GNT recommends its customers to undertake their own assessment considering any national restrictions to confirm the regulatory compliance of the specific EXBERRY® product and its components in the specific market and final food application.
