RTE Leeks are made from fresh, clean, commercial varieties of leeks that are inspected, washed, diced or sliced, blanched and then individually quick frozen. The product is packed and then held at temperatures necessary for the preservation of the product. Product is manufactured and sold as a Ready to Eat ingredient.
