Hawaiian BioAstin natural astaxanthin SCE Oil – a powerful dietary antioxidant shown to support and maintain the body’s natural inflammatory response after strenuous exercise, to enhance skin, and to support eye and joint health. Cyanotech is the first producer to extract astaxanthin from microalgae in-house. This process uses high-pressure CO2, free of any chemical solvents, to extract the astaxanthin from the algal cells. Then it may be blended with safflower oil to produce an oleoresin, ready for encapsulation.
