IQF RTE Green Jalapeno peppers are made from a common variety of Jalapeño peppers (Capsicum annuum). The peppers are de-stemmed, inspected, washed, diced, dehydrated to specification, blanched, and then individually quick frozen. The product is packed and then held at temperatures necessary for the preservation of the product. Product is manufactured and sold as a Ready to Eat ingredient.
