Product Statement - conventional cassava flour is obtained by transforming 100% of the raw yuca root commonly known as Cassava
(Manihot esculenta Crantz) into a fine, high-quality
gluten-free flour that mimics baking performance characteristics similar to wheat based products. This is not a ready-to-eat
product and must be cooked thoroughly prior to
eating.
Allergen Statement
“Opportunity International” is a cassava flour processor fully compliant with global food safety industry and regulatory standards.
Cassava flour is obtained 100% of cassava root that does not contain any allergens. There are no allergens used anywhere in the manufacturing process at our production facility. In addition, all “Opportunity International” employees have undergone allergen awareness training.
Cassava flour manufactured at “Opportunity International” is free of the following allergens:
• Milk
• Eggs
• Fish (e.g. bass, flounder, cod)
• Crustacean shellfish (e.g. crab, lobster, shrimp)
• Tree nuts (e.g. almonds, walnuts, pecans)
• Peanuts
• Wheat or other gluten containing grains (e.g. barley, rye)
• Soybeans
• Molluscan shellfish (e.g. oyster, mussel, squid)
• Mustard
• Celery
• Lupin
