Generell gibt es 2 Varianten:
Kartoffelflocken nur mit Emulgator:
positiv für die Deklaration. Die Produkte sind weisslich bis gelblich und überall besonders geeignet, wo die Farbe nicht entscheidend ist.
Kartoffelflocken mit Zusätzen:
diese sind gelblich und farbstabil, haben aber mehrere deklarationspflichtige Zutaten. Sie sind mehr für Püree oder Klößchen etc. gedacht, da der Verbraucher hierbei eine gelbe Farbe erwartet.

Potato flakes with emulsifier only:
positive for the declaration. The products are whitish to yellowish and are particularly suitable wherever colour is not decisive.
Potato flakes with additives:
These are yellowish and colour-stable, but have several ingredients that must be declared. They are intended more for mashed potatoes or dumplings etc., as the consumer expects a yellow colour.
