Main operations include The sieving, grinding, blending and packing of gelatine (e.g. Beef, Pork, Chicken) and vegetable gelling agents (VGA) (e.g. Hydrocolloids, Xanthan, Carrageenan, Pectins, Agar, Guar gum, Locust Bean Gum) for food, desserts, dairy and confectionery. A standard grade agar stabiliser for food applications extracted from Gracilaria spp. of seaweeds, used as a gelling, thickening and stabilising agent. Forms firm and relatively heat stable gel structures in water, dairy systems and confectionery. Useful for gelling applications that require freedom from gelatine and carrageenan.
